The Canada Caregiver Pilot Program is designed to address the demand for caregivers in Canada and provide a pathway to permanent residency for eligible caregivers and their family members. Here is an overview of the application process and key details of the program:

1. Home Child Care Provider Pilot

Qualification Requirements : General Requirements

1. Job Offer : A valid job offer from a Canadian employer for a Caregiver position. 2. Work Experience : At least 24 months of full-time work experience in Canada in the past 36 months as a caregiver or equivalent. 3. Language Proficiency : CLB (Canadian Language Benchmark) Level 4 in English or French.

4. Education : At least one year post-secondary education certificate or equivalent.

5. Acceptance : Applicants must be acceptable to Canada (eg, no criminal record, no serious health issues).

Specific to each stream:- Home Child Care Provider Pilot : Experience in caring for children below 18 years. – Home Support Worker Pilot Experience providing care to elderly people or people with disabilities.

Educational Credentials

: Diplomas, Certificates, and Transcripts. You may need to have your overseas education assessed by a designated organization (Educational Credential Assessment – ECA). – : Language test results : Results of approved language tests (IELTS, CELPIP, TEF, or TCF). – : Identity documents : passport, photo, and other identification documents.
